GCSE Revision Booklet This pdf is set out on A4 sheets so that, when printed, it folds into an A5 booklet. The content is mostly taken from the ICT Theory Book for GCSE. The file is protected from edit but the content may be printed. You may freely distribute both the pdf and the printed content but you must not attempt to override the edit protection or make any changes to the content. Logo Programming This 15-page booklet was written for KS3 pupils as an introduction to MSW logo programming. It covers basic instruction sequencing, variables and the concepts of procedures as stored sets of instructions. MSW logo is free and can be downloaded here. Pupil Names This zipped csv file contains 900 fictitious pupil details. There are five items of data for each pupil: Roll-Number, Surname, First name(s), Tutor Group and Date of BIrth. Please note that this data is made up and does not relate to any living individual. Pupils.zip
Customising Word These two worksheets together with a lesson plan were originally used a a taster session for Y11 pupils considering ICT A-level as an option. They have also been used successfully with both KS3 and KS4 groups and provide a self contained introduction to the use of macros and customising the Word toolbar. Desk-Top Publishing A 39-page course booklet covering the principles of document layout and design. The course was originally written for use with Publisher and later adapted for Word but the content is general enough to apply to any dtp software. The zip file contains Word documents that can be used as a starting point for the exercises at the end of the booklet.
